Joseph Marcell, born in the Caribbean, is perhaps best known for his role as long suffering Geoffrey Butler in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, alongside a young Will Smith. But before he served the rich Auntie and Uncle of cheeky Will, he starred in many films and TV shows, starting in 1974 in TV movie Antony and Cleopatra.

Joseph appeared in an episode of Doctor Who in 1988, Remembrance of the Daleks, and had many other appearances in TV shows such as Boon and Die Kinder. When Fresh Prince went off the air in 1996 (how has it been THAT long?) he won a regular part in The Bold and the Beautiful.

Joseph has been seen in many British staples of television such as The Bill, Holby City, A Touch of Frost and in Eastenders as the shady Aubrey Valentine (what a name!). Joseph proved that he can play the good guy as well as the baddie.

Come along to Film & Comic Con Cardiff and meet this versatile actor and all round great human, and grab a photo and an autograph. Joseph is appearing on Saturday.
